About puzzle #18
Puzzle #18 is the one for Tuesday 20 October 2026: an easy Tuesday puzzle, with the key shown, in Bacon's cipher. Francis Bacon's code writes each letter as five A's and B's, which can be hidden in two typefaces or any other pair of things.
Stuck? The Bacon's cipher decoder is fair to use, and Hint fills in one letter at a time. A new puzzle opens every day at midnight where you are, at StringMash Daily, and every earlier one is in the archive under the puzzle.
