Show the steps
  1. An anagram uses every letter exactly once: sort the letters, and any word with the same sorted letters is an anagram.

Using it

Type a word, or several on separate lines or with commas between them, and each line shows the other words that use exactly the same letters. For words that use some of the letters, use the word unscrambler.

What counts as an anagram

An anagram uses every letter exactly once, in a new order: LISTEN, SILENT, ENLIST and TINSEL. The solver sorts each word's letters into alphabetical order, EILNST for all four, and lists every word in the list that sorts the same way.

Phrase anagrams, where one phrase becomes several words, aren't covered here: there are too many ways to split the letters to list them all.

The word list

The word list is ENABLE, a public-domain list of about 172,000 English words that many word games are built on. Offensive words, and their plurals and simple endings, are taken out using the LDNOOBW list. It downloads once, about 370 KB, the first time you type, and what you type stays on your device.

Questions

Why does my word have no anagrams?

Most words don't have one. Longer words and words with rare letters almost never do.
